Rainbow swatches are the swatches I have sorted by color 🌈
Makes color searching easier
- Saves time
For large packs, this is a real time-saver when trying to find your colors. For example, if I'm looking for a purple in my Guangna 360 swatch chart, all my purples are grouped in the same place, and not scattered across 8 different sheets ✨
- More enjoyable
The color selection step can sometimes be a real headache. Beyond saving time, the rainbow organization makes this moment easier and more pleasant 🧘♀️
Why not all swatches?
Creating a rainbow version requires a lot of time and work. I therefore prioritize the most used large packs 🥰
Different sorting methods
To sort in a rainbow, several methods are possible, more or less quick and precise.
I can sort with the markers/pencils directly, or with swatches. Swatches allow you to see the true color on paper, which is often a little different from the cap or pencil ☺️
- Gradient of markers on the floor
I make a gradient of all my markers on the floor, then I complete my swatch chart column by column following this order.

- Light at the top, dark at the bottom
I directly sort the markers from lightest at the top to darkest at the bottom, and from left to right according to the color wheel order. I can do this with the markers directly, or with colored swatches for a more precise result.

I love this method because when you color, you often need several shades of the same color. For example, for mystery coloring books, if I'm looking for a purple for an item of clothing with its base, its shadow, and its outline, I directly have all my purples grouped from lightest to darkest 😍

Behind the scenes
Here I'm sharing my series "Ohuhu Honolulu Rainbow Swatches" again, where I take you behind the scenes of creating all the swatches from all the packs, from receiving the markers to uploading them to my shop 🌈
